My name is Marcos. I am currently a software engineer at Upgrade, a fintech offering personal loans, credit products and online banking, where I work on the funnel backend.

I came into my current role after Upgrade's acquisition of Uplift, a premier BNPL provider primarily in the travel and hospitality space. There, I was a software enginner working mainly on disbursements.

Previously, I was at Meta working as a manufacturing test engineer, testing datacenter hardware at scale before an early pivot into my current career path.

I earned my degree in electrical engineering at USC, after transferring from my local community college.
